Thoughts?
I mentioned this in the other thread but it still feels really bizarre to me to see the show move off of TV and onto Netflex after being on the tube for 22 years. I was 3 years old when it debuted, and I watched it from the very beginning. Honestly, that’s the main reason why I’m even still collecting and on this forum today–the show was my favorite part of the franchise. I kinda lost touch with it during Gen 3, and instead got more into the games. Wasn’t until recently that the cards became my #1 Pokemon passion. But the TV show is what made me fall in love with these ridiculous creatures.
So it’s pretty bizarre for me. Also kinda bothered by it because I am not at all a fan of Netflix for reasons that I can’t discuss on this forum.
But as for the best financial move for the franchise? Probably this. Money always wins. (Unhealthy principle for the world to operate on, but that seems to be the trend today.)
