Just a little something I felt like writing about. Diffrent Pokémon publications.
Even thought my main focus will be from a little country known as Norway, feel free to talk about stuff from other places too, its just that with exception of the American release of the mangas (wich I collect and read) I don’t know much about releases from other places.
Pokémon gotta catch ém all! Number 1. I don’t think they released more numbers. (Its beat up because the owner was 5 years old when he got it.) In short, when Pokémon just got here, they released a comicbook with photos from the first episode and gave it away for free. For what it is, its a good release. You get the first episode as a comic, and information about how to catch pokémon, professor Oak, Pokécenters and Pokémarts in the games.
Spill med Pokémon (Play with Pokémon)
I don’t have much to say about this thing. Its not interesting. I think gullible parents bought it for their just as gullible son to help him learn to read. Its just a activity book for kids, with a retelling of a episode as a childrensbook, and a recipe of pizza.
The official Pokémon magazine in Norway. It started in Norway in 2006, nut sure how long it ran, but atleast until 2010. Was it good? Not really. But it was fun. And I thought it was good when I was younger. The 2006 and moste of the 2007 numbers was charming, and actually had a personality. And they wrote about the eight and ninth movies, even though they where never dubbed to Norwegian or realesed here. You got info from the playing part of the TCG, info about the games, a retelling of a episode (this time redrawn to make the characters look bad unless its a blury photo of the anime)
