I thought I would also give a heads up for all you Suicune fans out there. An event is taking place this week and next where Suicune is available to catch! This is a great opportunity to get one as they will be VERY difficult to encounter after the event is over. Here are more details for anyone interested:

There are a few of us who play and post in the Discord channel, if you want to check out there as well. Only a few of us though so nothing super active.
I’ve been playing since Day 1 or 2. First Suicune this morning, and should be able to Master Ball a second tomorrow. My Raikou and Entei were all trash so fingers crossed I can get a decent Suiciune.

First full day on the new area Old Gold Power Plant. What team is everyone starting with?
Mine still needs work but an electric team seems like a good fit. Lots of skill based Pokemon.

I also swapped to the new area as soon as it was available. I’m running a team of Raichu, Raichu, Steelix, Banette, and Sylveon. At least until I run out of ingredients to cook.

I still need to get a decent Steelix, I’ve heard it’s pretty good!

My Steelix isn’t great. I have a great Onix that I was hesitant to evolve because I thought its more useful on Taupe. But I am reconsidering that with the new area. Its fine, my Raichu is still better with BerryS. Its really its skill that makes it more desirable.

Here’s my team so far. Really being carried by Sylveon. Need some levels and Main Skill Seeds.

I waited what felt like 6 months to find almost the perfect Sylveon. Its as close to perfect as I could get. Its been a permanent spot on my team since I evolved it. Since the update where you can store skill triggers, I hit the skill about 5-7x a day.

My Wigglytuff has carried my teams since the beginning but it’s stats just aren’t great. I have a shiny Eevee I’ve been hesitant to evolve but I’m considering Sylveon now.

Wigglytuff technically has a higher skill trigger rate than Sylveon, so an identical Wig will out preform it. But I’d never found one better.
Use what works for right now, but always be ready to replace it if you get lucky and get a perfect one. This really is a game about min/maxing.
