I have the opportunity to buy this box sealed. I do not know how much it is worth and neither does the seller. eBay has no recent sales and has one listed at $2600. This forum last discussed price in 2013 for $680, but that must be crazy low now I would guess…

Other vs series boxes (different elements) have sold around $900 on ebay. Is the water vs fire one more valuable and is it first edition or is there no first edition? To be clear, Claire is on the box top (dragon gym leader from Gold/Silver).

Conservative price and high sale price recommendation please! Thanks!

All VS series boxes are first edition. Each box contains 10 packs. And I have found that one pack of fire and water for sale at the $150 range. The only reason I can think of for its valuation being higher than the others is the possibility of getting a Lance’s Charizard and getting a Karen’s Umbreon Holo (one of the more desired holos). $2600 sounds overpriced.

All 3 boxes sold as 1 lot last month for 3200: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F172791894792 so 2600 is way too high. I would put these boxes at around 1000-1400 tbh thhey are definitely more than the other 2. I did see a grass/lightening one sold for 785 2 months back: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F172791894792 so that is something to go off i guess.

Edit: i found a pack sale for 120 rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F122646688902 so maybe a bit above the 1000 mark i mentioned earlier.

I just snagged one for 1050 and plan to flip it on eBay. It’s the only box now and I plan to list for 2000 and best offer.

We’ll see if it goes. There is value in being the only one and the only pack is selling for 150 now too. The seller just had to get rid of it ASAP and cracked under the pressure to sell it quick.

One of the Reasons the fire/water packs are more expensive is because, among others, it contains the two most valuable cards from VS (Karen’s Umbreon and Lance’s Charizard)

$1050 is right around what I know most collectors would pay for that box…

I also feel like it was around market price, i dont see much room to flip the box anytime soon tbh.

There’s a guy with a good bit of them who has been selling them one at a time. He tells everyone one it’s his last box then relists again. I believe it’s the same guy on eBay with the other boxes around $900. He sells on Facebook too.

Congrats, lucky sale. That guys still sells them for $800 each on Facebook for the other two. He’s asking more for the Fire one now though.

Wow whoever bought that must have really wanted it, congrats on the sale. The other two boxes are at auction currently and are sat at just under £500 with no bids on any of them. Just put of curiosity was the sale on ebay?

Yes it was. You can find it under sold listings. I sold it for 2000 or best offer and he just straight up bought it. I think the key is that I was the only one on eBay and then someone else listed one, but for 2600 and it made mine look like el Cheap-O!
