I think Lugia in unseen forces would have been cool. or tyranitar in that same set. swap those two (which are EXs in the set) with the legendary dogs which are gold stars and make them EXs.

I think Dragonite as a grass-type delta species would be cool for Dragon Frontiers.

Edit: just learned there was a grass-type Dragonite in the set…WHAT A WASTE!

A gold star Lugia would be orgasmic and disgustingly expensive, but can’t think of an ex era set artwork a gold star version would suit. So instead I’ll go with Gold Star Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres from Ex Fire Red Leaf Green.

Still not sure why they never made a Deoxys Gold Star, they had a whole set for it! Latias/Latios could have been moved or replaced Alakazam/Celebi/Metagross.
