If you are looking to buy these don’t pay the crazy prices cowboy has on eBay. He had these packs listed originally for around $30 and didn’t even know about the triangle error until I messaged him. He then pulled the listing down and told me he opened that box from a sealed case of boxes and he sold 1 box already. Then he realized each box in the case were these triangle error packs. So he has a lot and they will be up for sale for a long time.
I objected to the authorization to grade and designate these packs.
Consider this. I have loads of 1st Ed base packs AND shadowless packs AND shadowless packs with non shadowless cards…
I was offered a partnership to supply packs and he’d triangle stamp them and we’d split the profits.
I included the info from that phone conversation in my objection to PSA.
My advice is steer clear from this VERY easy to duplicate anomaly.
I guess in this case the triangle is not the error, but what its meant to be covering, which is the rouge 1st edition stamp on an unlimited pack, but since there are already error 1st edition unlimited packs, triangle error would be a fitting name for these
That’s fair enough, I guess in lieu of anything better to call it then that’s the most appropriate thing. I suppose ultimately it comes down to whether you associate the word Error with Mistake.
yep would depend on how you interpret the term, it could be interpreted as the triangle being the error, or a triangle is on an error pack, which is how ive always interpreted it
