I keep finding other years but not this one. Normally I would price right around what I see other years going for, but the previous owner put a sticker on the penny sleeve “VERY RARE!! MINT!!”.
It depends on if its gradable. If the PSA pop is right they’re roughly 5x more scarce than their 2006 counterpart so I’d personally estimate maybe $125 to $160 for a PSA 9 and $400 to $550 for the PSA 10. If it’s stamped add 20% more. I think it would be a hard sell at that price though since its a low demand but high value card.
The silver medals are all quite common… definitely not worth what was suggested here in PSA 10.
The 2005 Gold medal is worth more as it was only given to a small amount of people. Any later gold medal is far more common.
That may be so, but where are all the 2005 silver medals? The 2005 Gold medal pop is 3 and the silver medal is 8. 2006 silver medal pop is 44. I could understand if someone graded a collection of 2006 or if the pop is wrong but that much variance seems to indicate a shortage.
There is currently a seller in the US who has a PSA 10 2005 silver medal for $75 OBO. Probably not a whole lot of margin there for you Rusty, even if it is mint.
Strange why I didn’t see that one come up? My estimate was way off then… based on scarcity it should cost more but that’s priced lower than the 2006 that sold for $125. Maybe the demand is in the dumps since 06’ is abundant. Well, disregard my comment Rusty!
