These chase cards are definitely one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Like it’s always fun and great to grade PSA 9 base set Charizards but these super scarce and super fragile cards are so exciting to me!!

One of my favorites. Love when these show their faces. I hope gem mint jungle and team rocket cards reach this lvl one day too. I can see a lot of cards rising to this standard in the coming years and this is the perfect role model to look up to

They won’t. The reason why this specific card is this expensive is because it is damn near impossible to get in a 10.

Cards like Lapras and dark magneton could hit those prices in the coming years.

Lapras has a pop of 95 in PSA 10 and Dark Magneton has a pop of 46. They are certainly hard to grade and are among the most valuable cards in their respective sets, but they aren’t even remotely close to the level of Neo Rev Ampharos, which has a pop of eight. The only set cards comparable to Ampharos are Neo Gen Typhlosion (17) and Slowking and Neo Discovery Yanma.

Yea Ive heard how difficult it can be just like tca gamings typhlosion he recently purchased. That is literally the definition of low pop haha. Lets not forget Slowking neo genesis 1st ed psa 10 lol. I know what youre saying with the low pop.
Im saying that jungles look as though they will reach that lvl in the future, meanwhile in the future, amphoros and the typhlosion will be going for much much more. Just to clarify that! I wasnt saying they will reach the current buying prices of amph and typh. I think those cards will always be more expensive because there are like only 2 of them in the world! At the same time a Vaporeon no smybol pop of 14 or so is also very difficult to find and extremely difficult to grade due to the light holo and the holofoil taking up most of the backround. Also extremely popular and scarce. So I dont think its too far fetched to see some jungle no symbols bumping up to around that lvl of 6k - 8k. I mean they already have bumped insanely. 400% increase in a little over a year is crazy on jungles alone. One just sold after more than a year for almost 3k from $300 in 2018. I certainly see that potential. Again, not saying they will ever reach and compete with amphoros or the typhlosion at their current value but more so follow in their footsteps.
I was going to be a complete smartass and try to prove you wrong, but you’re actually spot on. It statistically is the Typhlosion 17 of the Neo Revelation set.
This isn’t the most difficult Neo Revelation card to grade, that title goes to Blissey. However just like Typhlosion 17 it’s actually the second most difficult to grade; Slowking from Neo Genesis is the hardest card to grade from that set.

When was the last PSA Blissey sale? [E – $1500 according to pokemon price in mid 2017 when it was a pop 6. Definitely shows how much low pop cards have gone up in price… I’m sure people would pay more today]
