This user put his 1999-2000 Charizard on eBay for a WHOPPING price: £21,999
Obviously I know that you can put any price to an item on eBay, but this is the first time I’ve seen a Charizard of this variety in PSA 10. Has anyone seen one of these on eBay before?

Although I agree it’s a lot of money; Where’s the cheaper option?
Also, the certification number is 21609406, for anybody wondering. 
The cheaper option is to be patient.
Something i learnt is theres always another opportunity.
Bart, I don´t know how often anyone on here has to tell you that IT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING if someone puts up an item for a completely ridicolous price. You can look up the price history of this card on ebay or pokemonprice and you will hopefully quickly figure out that this is just an attention drawing listing.

I’m after thoughts; as it’s rare to find a PSA 10 Charizard in 1999-2000.
So you’re telling me I can look up the price of a PSA 10 1999-2000 Charizard on eBay or PokemonPrice to figure it out? Please point me to the means of differentiating - on PP etc - that of Base Charizard PSA 10 and 1999-2000 Charizard PSA 10.
I get what you’re saying, but good luck on waiting for cheaper Charizards. This one? yes. Many other ones? Not so much.
Patience is a nice thing to have for modern sets. Those are almost guaranteed to come down at some point. But vintage keeps on climbing at a steady rate. If you don’t have one now, expect to buy one at a higher price down the road.
But again, this one in particular is ahead of its time, I think we can all agree on that. 
Last one at auction went for 5k+ USD, can’t remember the exact figure but it was well above what an unlimited was going for at the time
The cheapest option is not owning one.
Last count was 5 or 6 of the 1999-2000 but it is so hard to track without the correct PSA designation.
Last one sold for like 6K usd this year.
