Surprised to see it in public, but not surprised by who now owns it. Glad to see it surface after all these years

I’ve done all the weird microscope detective work so you don’t have to. Here’s PSAs account liking a comment saying, “The only PSA 10 in the world…”

Hard to keep it secret

Logan has the only PSA 10 of the Illustrator, the most valuable Japanese card, and one of 3 BGS 10 Charizards, the most valuable English card. But, does he have the most expensive Russian card? I bet not.

Well I did pay 40$ for my Hoopa FA from Acient Origins in Russian language in 2016-17 so I might be the proud owner tbh

When and who did he buy it from, does anyone know? I was actually going to make a thread on this topic at some point.

Will Logan have a video about acquiring this like he did the Zard? That’s what I want to see. I’m sure there is a NDA and contract involved so probably not

We probably will never know unless LP releases a video on it

It’s a PSA 10 with some flaws to it if I remember correct.
Anyone else who knows more about this perhaps?

I would be very surprised if he didn’t make a video about it . . . it’s easy publicity and ad revenue for him. He probably has a video started already, but has been waiting for the public unveiling to cap-off the whole story. My guess is we will see one sooner or later. Just my opinion.

Indeed. It’s a former 9 that was resubmitted at least once, if not more, and eventually got a 10

If memory serves, it has a corner chip and received a 9 multiple times before getting a 10.

Alas, it is not for us to judge, only admire.

Regrading has served him well then, maybe there’s a lesson in there for all of us…

I believe it was regraded somewhere between 4-6 times before it got a 10. It was originally bought by 2-3 people. They then sold it to an Australian member here. The owner was a member here then it sold to some sports guy that had a bunch of BGS 9.5 Topps chrome #/numbered cards Mike trout cards (I believe from the UK). He told me that he sold it for $60k+ to a Saudi/middle Eastern collector. That’s the last that I recall of this card. Correct me if any of this information is incorrect.

Is that lesson to go back in time to before PSA started using the AI technology they currently use?
