PSA 9 2010 Zoroark Art Design Winner Coro price?

It’s a long shot but would anyone here have a general idea of a price range for this particular card ? I would love one in this particular grade and I actually may have the opportunity but I don’t have any idea what it’s going for.

If any of you have a price range for this I would greatly appreciate your feedback

Lastly I know this card is rare as heck and only 200 copies so finding sold data prices on this was impossible for me but maybe some of you may have ways that I don’t know of too fond recent sold prices :smiling_face_with_tear:

This is the card also for reference :

With cards like this, it’s whatever someone is willing to pay.

I mean I’m pretty sure you’ve already seen that, but there was at least a recent sale of a raw copy for 2500£ with an accepted offer. So I would say the PSA 9 is probably worth at least 2500£ (?)

I didn’t see the recent sale but if it’s raw and sold at 2500 would that mean maybe the psa 9 would be more like much more in value ? Maybe around 5.5-6k usd ?

Yeah with its rarity and how hard they are too find although right now you see quite a bit on eBay actually

Here’s the listing: 2010 Pokemon Japanese Card Design Contest Illusion’s Zoroark L-P | eBay

These definitely have interest from chinese buyers! I just responded to an ig message about these cards. There is more awareness of them now than prior. Also I have a psa 9 pucchigumi winner live right now with pwcc that might give an impression for your question when it ends:

After doing some more research , is it possible that these art design contest winners have more than 200 cards each ?

I am seeing more so that the corocoro winner has a lot of listings , and well it wouldn’t surprise me if some art design winners have had extra copies printed but maybe that’s just me thinking all this ??

Do you think the 200 of each card could have a high possibility of more than the only 200 issued too each winner ?

If the last few years have taught us anything is that there are “extras” of all trophies, snaps, illustrators, art academy etc. how many is unknown

Agreed with @pokecollectoramy. There is an official release number, and then others tend to trickle into the market. Nobody knows how many, but they often come from those who worked closely with the company/production.

The coro copy appears the most frequently. I’m not sure if a few more were awarded but I’ve seen more of that specific copy than the others. Keep in mind we are still talking small numbers overall.

Well that’s a benefit too me for that particular copy since I want one big time :raised_hands:

The reality is there is probably more copies than officially advertised. It probably means that it will be slightly easier to find copies if there are 100 cards vs 200 cards, however, no can prove this as a fact.

But if I am the seller for this card, I will strongly hold onto the fact that these cards are only 100 distributed and the price should be reflective of that. Good luck on your purchase.

Cheers!

Thank you ! I am hoping I can find one even if this particular art is a bit more available yet the psa 10’s are so far out of my price range lol Hopefully a 9 grade is some where

I don’t think these would be printed at extra amounts since it’s a very specific kind of contest and why would they ? But who knows :man_shrugging:

I use too think 200 copies of a card was a lot lmao

Yeah I wouldn’t worry much. No matter how you spin it they are some of the rarest Pokémon cards, and they have unique art!
