Looks like an ungraded one (apparently around PSA 8 quality) just went for a little over $600.

the prices of ungraded cards have been shocking recently. i saw a 1st ed togetic from neo genesis auction for ~160 the other day, after hitting 20 bucks three weeks ago. seems like people are scooping up raw cards while they’re still plentiful in the hopes of hitting a high grade
The market is just correcting itself, for the longest time buying raw cards for cheap and grading them has been an almost risk free way to make large profit, at higher prices it’s still profitable, just profits are smaller and risk is higher.
I bought my PSA 9 copy for $135 exactly 2 years ago.
This card even ungraded is extremely hard to find in decent condition. Mine is ungraded but looks like 9-10 range but hey I’d even be happy with a 7 or 8. I got a steal on mine for $100. A buyer here was offering $225 for a near mint one. Who knows what it sells for but it’s one of my favorite cards. I know if I had abunch of spare money I’d throw a good bid on this for sure Edit wow this is the most Umbreons I’ve seen on eBay at once. This is a 7 for $350 range. I guess 9 is listed for $650 seems cheap the 10 is listed at $3500

What I bet happens is this one sells for more or close to the psa 9 listed and the buy it now one sells as well. Assuming it’s not horrible feedback seller I didn’t check
The BIN may inform the auction listing, cards and sellers being relatively equal. The BIN might go at that price, I think it’s skirting the upper reaches, and would guess the 9s will correct down a bit before rising above the $650 mark and well up in the coming years. Who knows. One of my favorite cards, too. Oh and I’m firm on the $638.87. You taking the over?
Yup I’ll even be extra confident and go $850 which is over buy it now price. This card could easily top 1k. There isn’t a ton of 1st edition Umbreons on the market. Very popular card. Beautiful artwork. Very underrated. Once it gets close to the buy it now that will probably be gone before auction ends

A PSA 9 in Germany sold for 400 euros within hours recently.
Just looked back at this we were both close. You were closer but I was correct on the over. Ended at $675. Makes me happy because I got my ungraded mint one for $100 
No way man you said $850, maybe $1000. I came within $40, which I think is pretty damn good given the current market and the desirability of card. Price Is Right rules, you go over, you bust so I win! Ha. Seriously, though, congrats on your purchase! That’s a great price you got.
