I personally can’t see how they will not be shut completely again within two weeks.

I have my first submission from November which is at the last step. I wish the best for them to keep safe but I won’t lie I was happy to see this.

Maybe they should actually take a break…

@pkmnflyingmaster,man I still remember that fake 1st stamp on shadowless scandal.

What’s the deal with this? I get it that it looks like someone tried scraping the stamp off. Is that why PSA gave it that .5 grade?

And that’s great news that PSA will continue operations. I have 2 submissions through. Ludkins currently there, with one of them being a December sub. I was already preparing myself that I wouldn’t be seeing my cards until next year.

The stamp is very fake. Even if it was clean, the positioning alone gives it away

Woah, I didn’t know that. Thanks for that information. Guess I really gotta examine all cards EVEN in slabs. Quite unfortunate if you tell me.

Ya it’s obvious once you zoom in. I’m worried about a newer buyer not knowing and quickly buying this card. Assuming the PSa Case means it’s a legit card. What a shame to whoever stamped it. Shame on PSA. Shame to the seller. And Shame to ebay. eBay needs to remove the listing. I hate that people try to scam daily on Pokemon. Sometimes they are literally stealing candy from a baby. It is a game made for kids which shows these people have no morals… tisk tisk

But…it’s a 45XXXXXX cert number. They are way stricter on everything, so it’s real!!! probably a new variation of the 1st edition stamp

It happened to an older cert number too

PSA is now closed again: www.psacard.com/

PSA really thought they were slick lol

I knew getting my cards back was wise, there was no way it was staying open

It continues to astound me how many people have thought that we would just be continuing business as usual in this country.

I blame it on the lack of respect for science, reputable journalism, and expertise in general.

I knew this would be an epidemic before it was called an epidemic!

Let’s hope this is over soon. Cards getting back in plastic slabs is nice but not essential. Let’s wait it out and hang on everyone :-)!

This 1000000000000000000000000000000%

2 + 2 only equals 4 unless it happens to be convenient.

It’s a good thing we’re all already use to looooong waiting times;)

They are halted again:

Pursuant to Executive Order N-33-20, issued on March 19, 2020 by the Governor of California, Collectors Universe’s Orange County office has closed until further notice.

As a result, Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) have temporarily ceased operations, effective immediately.

It is evident to all that we are in uncharted territory. For now, the larger public good mandates this closure. We will share our reopen date once it is established by the state of California.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and please stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Joe Orlando Steve Sloan
CEO, Collectors Universe President, PSA
