PSA/BGS Grading Services in Aus

As of late I’ve finally gotten around to organising my cards for grading, however I was wondering how most others from Australia typically go about grading. Do you go through Ludkins/Charlie/Scott, or do you go through alternative services/ship directly to PSA?

I’m apprehensive to send some cards because I’m very confident in some getting 9s, if not 10s, especially a No Rarity Ninetales I have in hand as well as a bunch of gold stars.

Also do people advise going with standard or express services? The delays at PSA don’t exactly instil confidence in me when express is still going to take 3+ months and standard will take 8+ months. Can anyone shine any light on why they don’t hire more employees to shorten turnaround times? It seems nonsensical that the pricing remains the same but the experience has simply gotten worse.

There is a service for Ludkins in Australia through TRA. You can find more information through their facebook group/page. Alternatively, you can send direct to Ludkins yourself or send directly to PSA.

Most people go through middleman or facebook group submissions for PSA and Beckett submissions in Australia.

Australian PSA middleman services with websites, physical locations and Facebook pages off the top of my head are TRA Grading which has been already mentioned, Game Addict and Slabd.

For Beckett most people in Australia just use Cherry collectables but currently the fast and slow service they offer is running extremely slow due to Beckett being backlogged, covid causing problems in Dallas etc.

I have a PSA submission through Game Addict at the moment and I have a few Beckett submissions through Cherry.

Cherry for Beckett are trusted. I have been sending to them since 2019 and every submission I have done through them has come back safe and sound.

Game Addict I can’t say for certain just yet as it is my first time using them. Testing them out.

Psa has a monopoly on grading cards you have to wait the year and pay what they ask. You have to or u can’t get graded psa

You can’t go down the street for psa grades. You have to play along with their rules and its no sweat to them. What’s their motivation to make the process more convienent? None.

Psa knows people would wait 2 or 3 years and pay twice or triple as much if it came to that. Monopoly
