PSA Bulk Submission and Final Grades

I’m working on my first sub and have a few cards where a grade 9 or below wouldn’t really be worth submitting at anything above bulk prices, but then a grade 10 makes a significant price jump. I’ve been told it doesn’t make sense to ever really assume a 10, but then I also see where many think that you’re less likely to get a 10 when submitting bulk.

What should I do?

Not sure where you got the less likely to get a 10 on bulk from, Ive not heard of that and im pretty sure PSA dont have their team handling bulk trained to give less 10s.

All graded 10 will gives a significant price jump. You just have to deal with the prolonged delays on grading with bulk. I have a bulk submission from June 2020 that’s only just been entered into their system, not even reached the grading process yet.

Everyones in the same situation, I get its probably all fun and new if its your first submission but I wouldnt get too attached to getting them back anytime soon.

Not really much you can do about it imo. With bulk subs you probably won’t see the cards again for a year and who tf knows how the market will look 12 months from now. If you look at January 2020 compared to now, it’s crazy. I’d just submit as 9s

Ya, I don’t expect them back soon at all. Part of my delay submitting has been really considering whether I think some cards will even have enough value by the time they get back. I’m kind of expecting we’ll see a decline in prices by then.

For the PSA 10 remark, it’s not necessarily that they grade less 10s. It was actually related to another post on here that perhaps they don’t put as much effort into assessing the cards in bulk as they do with higher value subs, so you have a chance of there being more variation in grades with bulk.
