Hi I’m new here.
Can i check if this is damage on the card in my slab? There are some weird looking squares/scratches on my card/slab:
These are just imperfections in the PSA case, they aren’t damage to the card! Fairly common as evidenced by lots of other people asking about them:
Hello everyone!
I bought a psa 10 Yu Nagaba Pikachu the other week, and it just came in the mail this afternoon! I’ve been super excited for this to show up, so you can imagine my disappointment when I immediately see this strange blemish on the surface.

Does anyone know what this is, and why it didnt take away from the 10? I’m incredibly disappointed and I’m not sure if I should contact the seller to return it. The card is going up in price too, and I r…
Hey guys, first time posting here. I got back a regular submission of 10 cards today, 7 of which had these weird white squares all over then, Luckily, my 2 10s and a 9 are okay, but I’ve submitted a request with PSA to see what’s up. Have any of you seen this before? Link to pictures

Obviously this must have happened through the grading process and after speaking to the 3rd party to submit these they reckon it happens more th…

Since I started working on my PSA collection, I have noticed that half of the cases contain weird white particles just below the PSA label in the middle (see pictures). Do any of you have a similar issue?
The cards are coming from several sellers accross USA and EU so it does not seem to be a mat…

As mentioned above, in most cases those weird squares are only minor flaws on the case. Although there is a really small chance (like one in hundreds) that it was an actual damage on the card lol
My advice is to “move” the card a bit by slightly knock on the edge of the slab. If the square didn’t move with the card, then it most likely is on the case and not the card.
