Hi. I received bunch of delta species cards back from PSA couple weeks ago and some of them came back as 8s. They are all in pack fresh mint condition, and only problem was centering. Wouldn’t these be off-centered enough for the 9(OC) qualifier or am I completely wrong?
Couple examples:
I think we’d have to see the back of the cards to actually tell. But if the backs are pretty nice you could probably try for a regrade. Regrades usually don’t go that well though from what I hear.

Funnily enough, I’ve sent cards from the exact same set, all mint as could be, with the same or worse centering as these, and PSA graded each of them PSA 8.
I guess it’s bad luck the grader didn’t give oc qualifier. Currently looking at this example and it’s awfully similar with your cards.
I’d argue that MEW is a bit more OC… Haven,t personally pixel counted though.
8 is a fair grade even with flawless backs, but I can see why you’d prefer a 9(OC) which is a bit more valuable when it comes to Pokemon cards. In other hobbies 9(OC) would be worth about a 7. lol
I feel like this is very common with PSA when it comes to Japanese Dragon Frontiers cards. I have a Salamence ex that’s absolutely mint but has crap centering, and it was a straight 8. The set has horrible issues with the centering in general so I think they probably won’t give out OC grades because of that… Just a guess but it’s unfortunate
