www.psacard.co.jp/ Big news.
Yes I believe itâs been open since November, the director was recently on a MTG youtube channel. I canât remember if he said their goal was, or if they already were, submitting 5000 cards a month from Japan.
The PSA representative in Changs video stated that their goal was getting 5000/month at the end of next year
I was not aware I thought it was new I apologize
Anyway itâs interesting see the future right?
No need to say sorry, most of the people havenÂŽt heard of that I would assume! ItÂŽs very interesting as grading is still a new thing to the japanese card collecting community. Will be interesting to watch the development and the incoming supply. That being said, knowing japanese culture a bit, IÂŽd guess that it will take a longer time until itÂŽs widely accepted in Japan.
âIs it possible to apply from outside Japan?
Currently, only Japanese residents of Japan can apply for grading services at PSA Japan Branch. If you live outside of Japan, please apply from the PSA USA Headquarters website (psacard.com).â
In the FAQ.

Still planning on heading to Japan in the new year will get my friend to grade when I give them the cards. See how it goes.

After a little more than 6 months opening shop in Japan, there is significantly more and more graded Pokémon cards in Yahoo, Mercari, Japan stores and Japanese collections.
Itâs definitely laying a groundwork for graded PokĂ©mon cards in Japan. The idea of grading cards and earning a premium in mint/gem mint condition cards after grading is slowly being established in the minds of Japanese collectors.
Itâs a slow process but if you look at day 1 and today, there is a noticeable difference in the Japanese market.
I think itâs interesting to see how pkonno and other big sellers decide to sell the high end cards. Now pkonno for example not use psa and sell ungraded also if there is psa center in akihabara. Interesting see the future.
good analisis!
Thatâs why I only see the Business Art Academy Pikachu in PSA-10 these days on Yahoo Japan, instead of ungraded⊠Kinda annoying, since the price of 2.9k USD for ungraded is already slightly too high for me personally (my 2.6k offers got rejected a couple of times)⊠Let alone the 3.5k USD for PSA-10.

Glad this is happening especially for the higher end cards. Japanese marketplaces have the worst picture quality. Iâve order plenty of âbeauty goodsâ that arrive with whitening or a lovely binder indent.
Gotta love those surprise dents! I make a binder out of them so it makes finding out about those dents less painful as it âadds to the collectionâ.
I wonder who the japanese blame for damaged cards coming back from psa? Is it still billy?
CURSEA YOU BILLY-SAN
I remember buying a fan club eevee, looked beautiful, paid a premium. It lives in a binder now with its beauty good indent.
