Just sent my 15 card 10 day submission off to PSA, on 11/30 and it arrived a week later on the 7th. Its almost been a week and PSA hasn’t still registered my order. USPS says it was picked up by an individual on the 7th. Does it usually take this long for PSA to register orders?
I clearly wrote 10 days on the box so it should have some sort of priority?
Pretty normal. Much like “dog years”, PSA uses their own measurements for time standards.
I once waited 3 weeks from when tracking said delivered to when they entered my order in the system. Most of the time it’s <7 days for them to log, but that one 3 week time was a bit unreasonable.
Plenty of threads on this already.
The way the submissions are processed is not by any definable measurement other than pure luck as to how quick they are processed.
That “10 Business day” is just an estimate remember

What did they say when you called?
Haven’t called them yet, probs gonna call tomorrow to see whats up. I live pretty close to it (abt an hour drive away) so I might just pop in and check whats up

Mine was received by them on 12/6. Also a 10 day order. Really wanted these back before the new year which is why I went 10 day. I am currently on hold with them. Awesome when it takes them longer than the “estimated” turnaround time for them just to receive it into the system, isn’t it? 10 day clock hasn’t even started yet and again that is only an estimate.
Also have 4 total 100+ bulk orders processing now. Just got the grades today for the one that was received in on 11-10 (105 cards) . 11-6 (100 cards), 11-1 (100 cards) and 10-21 (163 cards) have yet to be graded. In a way it is nice to know that I got one early… but… come on now. Receive my damn 10 day before you grade my 45 day please.
For me it was the same old “we’ll get to it when we get to it”, “did you mark the outside of the package?”, “sorry for the delay but it should be entered soon”. Sprinkled with some bits about the move and the holiday.
He did say they appear to be receiving standard orders today from around the 6th/7th so hopefully ours should be received today or tomorrow @kaminoikari.
Yep… just called and the customer service said something similar… ah well its no rush for me
Just for another data point, I had a 5 day order received by them last Tuesday and it was marked as received yesterday, 12/22. Now we have Christmas and New Year’s, too… so woo! Business days will be a very loose term during this next week. : )
Their timer starts ticking on the moment they mark it as received, not when it’s dropped in their PO Box.
And yes, it are business days. So a 10 day order will take a minimum 12 days (monday-friday-weekend-monday-friday) to be processed if they really process it like they should.
