[PSA] - Recase, but with more information on the label

If you have a graded card, for example a Dragonite No Holo or a Diglett Sideway Fist and it’s an older case, which mean it isn’t labeled as such, what happens if you send it in for a recase? Do they “add” the error on the label or should I go for a different service?

I’m not interested in regrading the cards, just want to know how to send them in for a recase with the info added.

The same thing with cards like the cosmos versions of Machamp and Zapdos.

Thanks in advance.

They charge $8 for a recase. And they’ll regrade your card too so there is a chance itll grade lower. You’ll also have to pay postage.

I’ve looked at getting a card with a mechanical error recased but the shipping charges for that one card are like $53+ (their lowest shipping bracket).

They do not regrade the card on a reholder service, although they do check the card for major inconsistencies relative to its current grade.

If you dip a PSA 10 in water, for instance, then send it in for a reholder they’ll downgrade the card due to visible water damage.

The answers above doesn’t really answer my question though.

Does it really count as a recase when information is added, I mean, cause they have their own population.

Yes, I believe they edit the pop info if required.

That’s great, thanks!
