PSA returns held

Well I was about to get my PSA returns back but FedEx decided to hold it and are requesting proof of export. Something to do with import and tax, couldn’t understand the lady properly, her English wasn’t clear. I have to email GTSclearance@fedex.com

I’ve done quite a few PSA subs directly and not had this before. When they shipped internationally via USPS, it was much better.

Has anyone had to do this? I’m from the UK by the way.

They just need you to confirm that this is your property coming back to you, vs something you just bought

Thanks, Do i need to send them my PSA submission form or anything?

FedEx has been a pain in the ass for me recently, they keep holding packages and forcing me to pick them up for seemingly no reason. If given the choice I will pick literally any other shipping company.

For coming to UK - usually you send as Repair/Return and they return the same way.
I’ve only had the issue exporting to US for grading (not importing back to Scotland).

If you go in FedEx livechat, they should be able to give you the details for the person working on it and you just email them telling them it should be down as repair/return, give them the original tracking details for parcel on the way out and they should be able to close it easy.

I’ve had this a couple of times from Fedex, they usually do this to determine whether you need to pay import tax or not. If you reply to that email with the proof that you sent it out to PSA (postage receipt or similar) then you will be fine.

Fedex are 10x better than Parcelforce when it comes to PSA, Parcelforce always charge for returned graded cards.

Hope this helps.

Bit typical with courier companies and that can happen at times. Work with them myself. Although, it can be random and sometimes wrong. But usually judging from what they asked, you get proof of export, but I felt like it should have just been general clearance instructions/importer of record.

Still nice to see it worked out and you got your cards.
