This is the first time this has happened to me so i’m wondering if anyone on here has experienced this.
My package of cards which were sent to PSA had a tracking status update of ‘Attempted Delivery’.
First time this has happened to me and i’m thinking it’squie strange as how does one attempt to deliver to a PO Box?
Have you checked with the post office to see if they are holding it?
Sometimes the status isn’t updated correctly.
I’ve had this happen to my home address a few times knowing full well nobody attempted to deliver shit lol. I think usps has deadlines or quotas so they just fudge the tracking sometimes to save their own ass and make their service look better on paper than it really is. Follow the tracking for another day or two and hopefully it updates to ‘delivered’. If it doesn’t then call usps.
If you try calling USPS over here they don’t answer their phones. You will literally sit there for 30 minutes with the phone ringing and nobody will pick up. All the offices have terrible reviews too.
@tem4elf & @chinameowthsunflower thanks for our input. I can completely understand attempted delivery status updates for residential addresses or even comercial properties, but to a PO Box? i’ll wait another two days and see what happens. it said attempted delivery on 22 July approx 1pm.
Probably someone from PSA didn’t stop by to pick up the package. Wouldn’t be surprised as it’s a Saturday and I bet they are low on staff cause of the NSCC which is this coming week.
I’m sure it’ll be delivered on Monday. If it’s not then I’d call USPS and they can give you the number of the Newport Beach post office to call.
This is normal, happens to me all the time when tracking US based or destined packages. It just means they didn’t have the recipient on hand at the PO Box at the time to deliver it, and his is being held until the box owners collects it.
