Assuming you have submitted through the gold level with ludkins (not sure what this service would be called if you went directly through PSA), how long is the turnaround time AFTER the cards have completed the grading step? Anyone have any recent experience with this? I can’t remember from my past submissions, but I’m assuming it could be another month or two, especially with holidays coming up which limit the business days that PSA is open.
Cool. I’m assuming it could be longer nowadays obviously but was just curious. I’m approaching 2 months since my research and ID step. Hoping to have my cards back by the end of February but who knows. I try not to check the live document but I still find myself checking it at least twice per week haha.
My experience is average 1 month after grading step through Ludkins. 2-3 weeks from PSA to Ludkins. Then 1 week for shipping and handling from Ludkins till I receive the cards.
Do Ludkins pass on the grade to you before you receive the card back?
Mine have now been logged onto the PSA system so I assume the grading will be next??
I have noticed longer times recently due to Covid with things taking much longer to clear customs. It is frustrating but not much to be done about it I’m afraid.
They should be doing that very soon for you. I’ve also had returns come back to me without it ever reaching some of the last steps. Sometimes they don’t update the document
Do they just ship it back to you without notice first as well? Like one day you think cards are still in the grading step based on the sheet update and the next they are at your front door?
I believe it may have been after the QA1 step not grading. Ludkins emailed me about PSA upcharges, I paid and then they shipped my cards back to ludkins. The live document never got completed from what I recall. It probably just varies each time and upcharges could impact the process.
good question. My cards in the platinum level of service hit grading the 19th of October, so hopefully in the next coming weeks i see some movement there myself. Thing is, its going to be different for each service level as well as with the delays im really not expecting anything to move for at least 2 months here or longer.
