Whelp, never looked into it, whats some lore from ptcg, whether it be from ads, set descriptions, or the games.

The most prominent lore would probably be the Holon Region and the sets / mechanics associated with it.

The only piece of Pokemon TCG lore I know is that Mega Evolution was discovered through a portal and Gyarados was the first to discover it. Very different from the games.

Not as major as Holon, but there was Parallel Worlds during XY, which is what I think azulryu is referencing.
