Im thinking Magnemite. Would be able to deflect most projectiles using a magnetic field, doesnt seem like a dumb pokemon, and doesnt seem like it eats so rations will be spread quite far.

ooh great choice! I am leaning towards Diglett.
Diglett’s underground speed makes it a stealthy saboteur. It can infiltrate, plant traps, and disrupt enemy lines, creating chaos with surprise attacks and even setting up underground supply networks.

Any of the healers would be great. Any of Chansey, Blissey or Audino would play a very crucial role in wars.

Cheers!

Dialga so I can yell The World and gain the upper hand in open combat

I feel like Mr Mime would be great at creating barriers and also probably absolutely terrifying for the enemy if he was silently working his way through their trench like a ghurka

Given its name, Wartortle comes first to mind. As an actual companion, I would pick Jigglypuff with its battle lullaby, making everyone asleep.

I trust Lt. Surge advice and I choose a bulletproof Magneton

Raichu. Just because I’ve always liked this art a bunch.

Can you imagine launching an invasion with 10,000 Spearows dive bombing that are trained by Lt Surge?

I’d personally go with Ditto. Too versatile not to. Can be a weapon in one scenario; a spy or distraction in another; a warm blanket in a cold environment if necessary; etc.

Then again, if it’s war-time and there are Pokémon, it’s safe to assume the enemy might have Pokémon partners as well. So in that case, the strongest is probably the best bet, which is Mewtwo. Not to mention, he can wipe the memory of the enemies, as he’s done in both Mewtwo movies.

Cereludge or armarouge. Both are badass but cereludge can speedblitz like crazy. Armarouge is more loyal however.

Beta Remoraid and Octillery since their designs were originally based off a gun and tank, respectively.

I feel like it would lead to these types of situations.

You’re probably correct.

Well, then Mewtwo it is. He can also transport actual weapons and ammo to the battlefield, possibly even teleport-stealing them from the enemy’s side to ours. :person_shrugging:
