Is the seal of an old Japanese booster box always open on the sides, let’s say base to neo?
So the clear seal all around the box with some of both sides not being covered.
Or are there variations such as a complete seal with a visible seal line all across like the English boxes?
On the boxes I have, the seal is open at the sides and exposes the side panels somewhat.
I’ve not seen any for sale that do not have this type of seal.

I can find more if I look a bit on solds listings but 90%+ of the boxes has the open side.
Just curious if anyone might have some more knowledge about this!
