For a very basic answer, Im thinking something stylized with a Milotic in mind. A dark blue paintjob, with a reddish stylized spoiler to reflect its tail, tan interior. Sleek and curvy bodytype similar to a mid70s Corvette Stingray. Would probably be decently quick and aerodynamic.
I have actually had this thought before funnily enough!
I choose Haxorus, specifically its Shiny variant as the Black/Red colour combination is S tier for a car.
My preference would be a striking black body work sprinkled with red details. Two toned black/red alloy wheels with red callipers. The hood vents and sides would match Haxorus’ red blades. Similarly with the spoiler that has the same red blades.
Throw in some red bucket seats and a V8 and you’ve got it sorted.
Haxorus is known for it’s Attack/Speed stats in game so this fast and ferocious design mirrors itself completely.
As cool as a truck that is actually a ghastily animated pile of Palossand would be, the 12* days of Palossand is now over. It was fun while it lasted though.
*May not have actually been 12 days
Now I love cars. My favorite real ones tend to be little sports cars with manual transmissions and minimal (in today’s terms) technology. Porsche GT3s, the weird RWD manual Lamborghini Gallardos, the TVR Sagaris- cars like that.
So a simpler, earlier, but also relative fast and light Pokemon will have to do. Haunter would be perfect. Not the fastest, but decently quick. A car with syling based on Haunter could come out looking relatively sporty and purple isn’t even a bad color for a sports car.
Special feature? When you’re on a twisty mountain road and get stuck behind the normies, just drive right on through them. Your car is a ghost after all. I’m sure there’s another thing here you could do with Haunter’s tongue but I’m not thinking of it at the moment.
I’m no artist, so I asked Gemini what sports car based on Haunter might look like. It’s a mash-up of a bunch of current cars, but it’ll do.
@filthynwah I would change up that front end to look like a haunter smile. Maybe it needs a bit more angles and pointy styling to give a nice haunter theme. Maybe some angular side mirrors to get a haunter hand look, and some angles in the back as well. But its your dream and it already has an awesome sound to it!
(Glad i gave a question that you couldnt resist answering for real)
I’ve spent years as a professional CDL driver, so definitely something with vikavolt-like blades or Mega Scizor saws to remove reckless and egregiously irresponsible drivers from the road. Ceruledge might be a good inspiration too.
HEY! lyleberr didn’t say it has to be legal, or actual. I’m not big on cars, They’re tools to me. I like one that responds and drives well for the everyday road (Which today includes dodging absurd teslas, BMWs, and benz), NOT one that works well for the track. Found an intersting pic or two.
This, with a Revavroom engine, an Abra with a little office in the glove compartment and a Mareep sleeping in the trunk in case I’m having trouble with the electric. All the advantages of pokèmagic without the unsightliness.
I don’t have a design in mind for a new car but my dream car would be to own one of the original 20 promotional Pikachu Volkswagen Beetles from 1998 - Can’t beat the perfect design for my favorite Pokémon!

I’m basing the day resetting around EST timezone since it seems like I can get the most people thinking around the world throughout the day with that timeframe.
@pfm, did you want brand new posts each day or one megathread to post daily? Whatever works for the site better is fine.
Since that first one may have been too abstract lets bring it back to the pokemon basics, Next question:
You get to be the pokemon creation god for a split second and can change ONE thing about a not traditionally popular pokemon, literally can be anything from looks to a stat in the game, what pokemon is it and what do you change?
