Questions for Himeno [Art Event]

I, along with many others from E4, have the amazing opportunity to not only be able to participate in Worlds this year, but also be able to participate in Himeno’s Art Event on August 14th.

I know she doesn’t do these often and she is like many Japanese artists, who seclude themselves away from the public eye. Saying that, this is a rare occurrence and don’t know when she will be back and have another opportunity to interact with her.

I am, in relative terms compared to the people on their forum, very new to the Pokemon collecting environment and have only been collecting for a small amount of time.

Saying that, I don’t have a bunch of questions to ask Himeno as there will be a period of time for questions.

I wanted to open it up to anyone on this forum that has any questions for Himeno that I may ask and type her responses in this thread.

Obviously I am not able to ask her all the questions that may be brought up, so I encourage others that are going as well to maybe incorporate some of these questions in your time with her :art:

[Also I don’t know how much time I’ll have, so try to not include a @smpratte Public video comment of “What should I buy that will stonk tomorrow?” type question]

Questions that are not hobby specific:

  1. What are your earliest recollections of things that inspired you to be an Artist?
  2. What is the definition of success for you? As an artist or otherwise in life? (Just curious about this because of the message she had posted recently on how she sees herself as an Artist, and E4 had then posted some messages of appreciation. This questions is more to understand what makes her happy)

Also, I think there was a thread made for her signing event last year as well which have some great questions,
