I don’t see many collectors who collect the oversized cards from promos as some seem to vary in size as well depending on the promo box, era, etc. Why aren’t they as popular? Is it because there aren’t any WOTC era cards? And for those who do collect them, what’s the best way to store them? sleeves, binders, etc. I know some even get graded by PSA, is that worth the trouble for them? I’d just like to know the best way to store them. Regular binder sleeves for 8 1/2 x 11 sheets don’t look as good…
I collect them and plan on getting every English one eventually, but I think as you say storage may play a part in popularity. I’ve seen people use binder sleeves and that’s what I was planning on doing.
Edit: Weirdly, my list now differs from Bulbapedia - even though that’s where I got it from
For info: there are 26 WOTC ones :

I do collect them. I personally store Jumbo cards in BWC 6x9 Photograph Sleeves and Ultra Pro 6x9 Toploaders, after which they go into a regular office A4 binder with clear A4 pages.
Here @skinst shows a picture of what that looks like, since she’s the one who recommended this combination that I’ve been using since:
Greetz,
Quuador
The battle zone Jumbo cards are printed on 2 different sorts of paper.
The EU version is thin almost like normal paper.
The USA version is thick cardboard.
While they look the same the quality is very different.
I started collecting them recently, I badly want the beams Mewtwo promo but, only 1 sale in forever and I should of just bought it at full price when I saw it…
Jumbo’s can be graded as well. I’m waiting on a Pikachu birthday jumbo now.
The kid likes the new jumbo cards that come in the GX sets. The new ones are not really worth much. But he likes them and they don’t look bad displayed. I ordered the jumbo sleeves and top loaders for his. They work well together. It did take about 3 months to get the top loaders in however.
I think the reason they arent popular is because the are hard to store/display
Don’t forget about Japanese jumbos… I really like this one from Scott (@smpratte):
Storing those Jumbo cards is easy in a Menubook / sheet booklet.
Those books they use in restaurants with plastic pages (Europeon size A5 fits perfect),
I don’t know how to post a picture of a menubook / sheet booklet
But here is a link. Mine has way more pages.
