Does anyone know what the value is of this “Questions?” card which has a regular Pokémon back?
I’ve seen them for sale for 100-200 USD in the past, and I’ve heard @thecharizardauthorty mention he sold them for 500 USD in the past in this video , but I’m not sure what they’re actually selling for (right now).
I know they are inserts for the Base and Jungle UK ©1999-2000 Theme Decks, like the ZAP! deck with Mewtwo & Pikachu, or the Power Reserve deck with Kangaskhan that Rusty opened in the video I linked above.
I actually bought a pretty cheap sealed ZAP! ©1999-2000 Theme Deck (~120 USD), which arrived today:
Since it’s not in the best condition, and if these insert cards are really worth 100+ USD, I’m tempted to open it to have that insert card for my collection, as well as some minty ©1999-2000 cards (except for the Mewtwo most likely due to the seal-stains).
Greetz,

Unbelievable anyone would pay anything for that card. I’ll vote it as the biggest waste of money since Beanie Babies.

The child version of me is off somewhere crying from this comment. Beanie Babies were life.

Why would anyone want to pay more than a couple bucks for it? Even if it’s kind of rare, it isn’t cool and has no art.
It has something and art is subjective.

But seems crazy that it would be worth more than thousands of other playable Pokémon cards.
I dunno, I think I have a French card like this somewhere in a deck box and I really like the novelty of it. I’m sure most people tossed them.
Ive sold 3 at that price before. I think Cool Stuff Inc put one up on TNT for $199.99
I think people paid up because it is unique and directly related to Pokemon.

why? It’s a Pokemon card that isn’t a Pokemon card. pretty cool if you ask me.

it’s a niche oddity. doesn’t have a massive market, but it doesn’t have a large supply either so we are where we are haha
I kind of like it
