Create a Radiant Pokemon (artwork only) Tier List

I remember when these were first announced and how excited I was

Now that the year has come to a conclusion, I feel fairly confident that we have seen all of the radiant pokemon that will be made. Of course, I could be wrong and they could continue into SV, but that is extremely unlikely (see: gold stars, PT Shinies, BW UR Shinies, Prisms, etc)

I wanted to create this thread so we can all share our favorites and least favorites with a simple tier list focusing on the artworks. Please add a comment with your absolute favorite (if you can choose) and maybe even your least favorite to keep the thread spicey. Overall, these were my favorite addition to 2022’s set of sets

before I share my list, here are the updated artworks in case anyone needs a reminder or hasn’t seen the ones from VSTAR Universe (which will be in Crown Zenith)

(I put eevee at the bottom since it was a promo in english and would have ruined the nice rows of three)

as for my list, here it is:

I thought eternatus would have been #1, but after having both it and Charjabug in hand, I have to give it to the little battery bug.

Blastoise is by far the least appealing to me personally, but overall, I think the PoGO lot are the worst group

I really appreciate the Radiants as well as the Amazing Rares. They’re a nice little subset and it’s nice to feel like you got a special card that’s not a full art or a V. Reminds me of the WOTC days. I’ll be picking up a copy of each eventually.

lol idk if you noticed but A tier are all arts with actual backgrounds of some sort other than just a pattern. Greninja is first on that list. S tier are for my absolute favorites, and while the art is nice, greninja isn’t a favorite of mine in any way

You’re not the only one. Venusaur is definitely my favorite of the bunch. The green just really pops for some reason.

The flower background immediately made me think of this cared when I first saw it (my absolutely favorite destiny holo). And I also was excited venusaur finally got a shiny card.

Vstar universe charizard is an upgrade. The pokemon go starters look too cartoony imo.

Souichiro Gunjima’s sunset Greninja stood unmatched since the moment it revealed as the introduction of Sparkling Pokémon. The Saitou Charizard was a necessary upgrade, I like his ying-yang contrast of its shiny form above the snowy mountainside

Radiant cards are fairly cool. Not the best thing ever but I do enjoy them. My #1 is no surprise.
