Growing up in the 90’s watching Steve Irwin, and collecting pokemon cards, I was inspired for a love of exotic creatures.
For most of my life, I have been collecting exotic reptiles.

My boy (Testudo hermanni hermanni)
My girl (Testudo hermanni boettgeri)
My beetle (Not ‘mine’ per se, just found her in our garden. A female of Lucanus cervus I think, but don’t quote my on that)
With my tortoises beeing different subspecies I don’t hatch the eggs, but they get along just fine with eachother most of the time. I have the female for 18 years now… crazy to imagine actually. The Boy is a good 20 years older than her, but only with me for around 7 years I think.
