Regional variant tierlist

Hi e4 mates. It’s been a week contacting you. Only a few responded on my non-damaging moves forum :frowning: . Looks like that tier list is too big to react :sweat_smile:. Ok now I come with the tier list of variants. (way smaller than my previous tier :sweat_smile: ) . I truly love few forms and hate few as the same. So I made the tier list on my opinion. You can all give your opinions on it. Have fun :wink:

Alolan vulpix at C :scream: . I truly felt the ice form really did fit vulpix.

Most of us (I think almost everyone) agree two things

  1. Alolan Sandslash is one of the perfect regional variant for design and typing given (10/10)
  2. Galarian Mr.Mime is the worst ever regional variant (nightmares :scream_cat: ) of the regional variants.

Basically everything in S-B are great, C ones are somewhat bland and D category are direct downgrades from the original ones

the only ones i really dislike are g-stunfisk and a-persian

the amount of a-exeggutor cards we get makes me want to put it lower, but i’ll compromise with C tier since its design is pretty funny. i just wish it took less slots in the TCG lol

overall, i really like the regional variant concept. probably my favorite type of update to a preexisting design that they’ve done. it has produced some really nice results like g-zapdos (personal fav of these) and more widely popular designs like the a-ninetales/vulpix and g-moltres

Galarian articuno being at A tier is a crime. Easily the most unique bird redesign and promo looks tuff

Pokémon are in no particular order within their groups. Alolan Exeggutor and Ninetales are my favorites though.

If it’s solely on design I accept avalugg’s position, but the thought of the typing they gave to its form i actually though it wasn’t that bad. Like the rock type addition made more meaning to it.

Also H. Zorua is definitely supreme (:sunglasses: )

G. Ponyta and G. Rapidash confuses me a lot… One time I see them I feel like “ohh wow a perfect unicorn design it’s great” and the other time I see them it’s like “oh man it’s so heavily designed which is not that needed”. I confused so much while placing them in my tier also
