Resources for information on Korean Cards

Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations on where to find info about Korean card releases. I noticed that most newer sets get a Korean print that some ebay sellers offer.

Is there a way to find out in advance if a set is going to be released in Korean? Or to be able to preorder Korean boxes?
Thank you

To quote an earlier post of mine:

A.f.a.i.k. almost all sets released in Japan for the Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield eras have also been released in Korean. Promos is a completely different story however, and I honestly don’t know.

Most Korean cards can be found on pokemoncard.co.kr/cards (I think the latest cards are automatically displayed, but you can search for a certain Pokémon in Korean to see most of its cards available in Korean - although not all). I see I’ve also linked it at the bottom of my quote.

I personally have a lot of trouble finding Korean promos, but for set cards I can usually buy them on tcgbox.co.kr with middleman service harum.io.

Thank you, do you know off hand if tcgbox does preorders for upcoming boxes?

I’m guessing that shiny star V will get a Korean Release and was hoping to be able to buy up a bunch to open for cheap since I figure i’ll be buying them in English when they eventually come out so don’t want to spend the extra on Japanese

I’m not sure, but probably not. I sometimes look for promos on their website, and those are usually added pretty late (or not at all for rarer promos). Maybe they’re faster to add it for sets and/or booster boxes or packs, but I simply don’t know. I usually buy my Korean booster boxes from eBay, although I’ve never pre-ordered any.

Korean cards can be pretty tricky to find in general unless you live in South Korean though. I don’t even know if they have pre-releases (they probably have, but I dunno). :slightly_smiling_face:
