PWCC reports are up and down with the most sought after cards in these 2 sets in 1st edition.

Do any of you have opinions on the 10 or so most valuable cards in the set?

This is how I would order them . . . though the dogs may be worth more due to popularity.

I’m not an expert in the Neo sets but I think Yanma from Discovery is highly sought after in PSA 10 and quite valuable too.

I’m assuming you (and probably the OP) are talking about PSA 10s. It’s funny to see how strong the low pop effect is for these cards. Looking at 9s (and probably similar in lower grades and ungraded cards) the list looks very different. 9s are basically correlated with the popularity of the pokemon, so I’d put legendary dogs, birds and starters at the top.

Well seems that FlyingMaster just made this thread more interesting. In my specific case I’m talking about PSA 9’s so curious to see how your list would differ from the 10’s.

I also have heard a few people mention Yanma from Discovery.

Are the Shinings in PSA 10 not going to be listed? Did they drop in price or something?

Yeah people have just assumed i wasn’t including the shinings in my question (which in my mind i wasn’t!) - shinings still come out on top.

Yanma is NOT from Genesis or Revelation though, just saying . . . :wink:

1st ed PSA 10 Gyarados used to sell for more, no? I thought it actually eclipsed the shining charizard last year for a short time. Could have sworn there was a post on here about it.

Only once did Shining Gyarados along with Magikarp sell for more than $1000, and that was early last year in a PWCC auction.
