Hi everyone, new here and just getting into collecting Pokemon more seriously. I love going back and seeing all the base, jungle, fossil cards but I must admit, I kind of love the new Hidden Fates set as well.
Anyways, I just open a Hidden Fates ETB and the sealed energy pack that comes in there was opened at the bottom. Also, the first card is missing the bottom half and has this weird factory marking imprint across it. Certainly odd. I was wondering if this has ever happened to anybody else? I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share. Definitely a mess up at the packing facility.
It can happen to booster packs as well; The card isn’t fully inside the pack, so when it’s time to crimp and cut the outer wrapper, the card obstructs a good seal and gets marked by the machine. Result: An incomplete seal and a marked card.
Very cool, in my opinion. Especially when you discover it yourself.
