No I donāt think itās an hacked account,
What Iāve noticed is eBay has a weird āglitchā.
so, a bit of a backstory to paint the picture;
I tried to order the 25th Anniversary s8a Japanese box set from a Japanese seller but noticed my shipping address was inaccurate so I sent the seller a message requesting they change it to the provided one and the seller informed me it would be easier to just cancel it.
By this time Iād already made the purchase, money was charged and the transaction was just awaiting shipping. the seller was able to give me feedback even though the order was cancelled and the money refunded. so now I have 1 positive feedback from a seller who the system accepts as a legitimate feedback.
So Iām suspecting it may not be an hacked account but it may be 1 user buying, canceling their own listings to build up false feedback.
Side note: Be careful ordering Japanese s8a 25th Anniversary boxes off of eBay. reason why I say this is Iām seeing the same photo of the same exact box in multiple listings. oddly, when one listing goes to ā1 left /x-amount soldā the other listings with the same photo all change their quantities to ā1 leftā as well.
I am looking for Japanese s8a boxes with promo packs but Iām not feeling comfortable buying off of ebay, definitely some scamming going on.
I just made a post in the eBay community forum about this.
when Iād noticed heād still left me feedback and it was positive then thatās when it all clicked for me and it made sense why it was so many listings with the same box/photo in it.
I could be wrong but Iād rather be loud and wrong about this, but the way it looks - itās a loophole.
