How do you guys sell your codes? I just bought a lot that had over a thousand in it and I’m not sure what the best course of action is. Are there issues with scams when selling codes? Thanks in advance!
For the ones I’ve sold, I typed them up in a Google Sheets document and send them immediately (from work or home) when purchased. I just send them over ebay message and mark the item as “shipped”. I usually check that they are valid on the ptcgo website before sending them too. I’ve never had an issue.

I’ve sold several lots of codes in the past. I didn’t want to organize by set so I sold them as a mixed lot.
I’ve found it best to always supply extra codes. If you are selling 100 codes, give them 110. Cuts down on people coming back with issues with invalid codes.
On my iPhone, I downloaded the app “QR 2 CSV”. Scan a ton of codes at once and then email it to yourself in excel format.
Then send the codes through the ebay messaging system.

Oh, you can check if they aren’t already used on the ptcgo website without actually redeeming them? I have quite a lot lying around as well, but for some I’m not sure if I opened them in packs/tins myself, or received them with orders. The ones I received from others might have already been used.
Where/how do I check it?

They have PTCGO on the Google app store. I’m not sure if it is on apple store but I know that it’s compatible with android tablets. I downloaded it on my tablet and after creating my account was able to go into the redeem codes section and you can scan the QR or type them in manually. It will test for validity and if it’s not it will not accept it. It doesn’t actually use the code until you confirm the redemption after scanning them.
The only semi annoying thing was there was no way to skip the tutorial on how to play. At least I couldn’t find one so I has to play through the entire tutorial in order to get to the point where I could scan the codes.

www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/On that page, you can check from your browser. Click the green box “redeem codes on Pokemon.com”. You don’t need the app or to play a tutorial. You do need a pokemon.com account though
Put the code in, validate that it hasn’t been used but DON’T click the button to redeem it lol
