Shadowless box possibly resealed?

Hey all,

Just came across this listing. (actually made an offer which got declined funnily enough)

upon closer inspection though seems to be possibly resealed.

you can see the cracks in the paint on the top where the flap is bent (hope that made sense lol)

The paint of the box cant be repaired which is usually a dead giveaway its been opened

am i just being paranoid ?

To me it looks like that’s just Marks from when the flap was sealed, before being pushed down upon to see the packs inside.

Shouldn’t there be Wizard of the Coast logos on the seal?

No most shadowless packs come from clear seal

Do you mean the bit of white scuffing? Unfortunately that’s impossible to avoid when you push the flap down so you can check to see where the trading card game logo is positioned on the pack.

I’ll let more experienced members comment on the seal. One thing I do want to say is that the packs inside are short crimp.

@qwachansey, Not the white scuffing. But if you look on the right side of the top of the box, about halfway up, you can see that the paint has been “cracked” from being opened and folded it seems. Unfolded boxes that part of the paint is still in tact. i dont think you can do that by pressing the lid down but i could be wrong :blush:

I messaged them on eBay out of interest as I’m in the market for a shadowless box, for anyone wants to know the packs are short crimp.

there you go, ive never seen a no logo seal shadowless box with short crimp packs.

Id avoid …

You can have short crimp packs in shadowless boxes though the only way to confirm they are shadowless inside is opening it, or if it was from a case where a box was opened and found to be shadowless. I don’t know the odds though I think they are on the low side of being shadowless.
Also I’ve seen a green wing box where someone had wiped the logos off to try and pass it off as shadowless before, As I said I’m after a true shadowless box though only will buy off a trusted seller.
