Okay so I have been watching every shadowless pack opening I can find on youtube (yes that includes all the grainy, crappy mobile phone ones from like 2009) and I have probably seen over 130 packs of it opened and not a single ninetales has been pulled out of all of them. I am wondering if maybe it only comes in blisters or something. I have always been a firm believer that the error no-damage Ninetales does not come in the Brushfire decks and actually comes in packs (although that is an argument for a different discussion), but now my question is: Has anyone actually seen a shadowless ninetales pulled from a pack?

Just for perspective, if we assume 1/3 packs contain a holo and 1/16 contain a ninetales, we’d expect to see 2.7 ninetales pulled in 130 packs.

Yes, I’ve pulled many direct from packs out of boxes. None included No Damage errors.

As far as I know, only two people have ever said where they got their No Damage Ninetales from, and in both cases it was the Brushfire Theme Deck. I don’t see how they could benefit from lying about something like that, so it’s probably true.
The real question is whether they’re from the gold strip decks.
There’s a very strong possibility they were from gold strips. I believe I got a couple of mine from those but it’s been near 20 years so I can’t be positive.
