Hello, I just needed confirmation if the 4 decks might have a chance at containing shadowless cards (I’ve read the dedicated thread, but better have another opinion). Also if the 6 decks looks resealed and/or have something special like a particular code/date or whatever might be related to the WOTC decks, since I usually deal with japanese stuff only, thanks!

@andrea, those decks are variant 2 so yes they have a good chance at being shadowless

No, unless you know you got it from a box broken that had shadowless packs in it.
If the base set theme decks have the decks on the top half then they have a decent shot at being shadowless. If they are on the bottom then it’s very unlikely that they contain shadowless cards.
Thought that was only for 2 player starter sets?
Nope, I believe rusty had a post where he opened 15(ish) brushfire decks and all the bottom half ones were regular and something like 75% of the top half decks were shadowless. I’ve also looked at plenty of youtube videos and shadowless is on the top half 90%+ of the time

Technically this thread is last 30 days by 2 days, but did t want to create a new thread for this.
So my questions are pertaining to the BLACKOUT Theme Deck.
I have purchased these 3 Theme Decks. I’ve wondered the same thing about the Blackout deck. I can’t seem to find any definitive information on whether or not the Blackout Decks are Shadowless based on the placement of contents on the inside or what not.
My Theme Deck seems to have the cards on top and not on the bottom. So does that increase the chances of it being Shadowless? Plus, the card picture on the back is behind the the 2 energies instead of being on top. The dates seem to be correct as well when comparing to the shadowless ones…
I’m confused and unsure. If I was selling this I’d list it as “possible shadowless” .
Any help on these from someone who might know for sure would be awesome!

The decks on top, and the seal isn’t the guaranteed unlimited.
Yea that’s what I was thinking lol. I don’t wanna open it though.
I believe the card picture being behind the energies gives it a lesser chance to be shadowless. The reason being because they wanted to cover the first edition symbol, indicating a later print run of decks.
Yea not sure. I’ve seen tons of them with the card in front being Unlimited…
