How rare is shining cards from neo destiny and neo rev?
How many packs do I need to open in avg to find one?

@golten, usually 2 per box in neo rev and 2-3 per box in destiny. If you open neo destiny keep in mind that shining are usually in light packs.

does this mean that neo destiny packs are hard to weigh accurately? as in if buying a pack online you still have a chance of getting a shining?

If you buy a light pack, it won’t have a holo but can have a shining. I own multiple shinings and have tested this. They weigh almost the exact same as a non holo card, whereas the holos do weigh differently. If you buy a pack online and it’s light, yes, it can still have a shining.

I think I read that the Japanese Shining Magikarp and Gyarados were much harder to pull? Like 1 per 60-120 packs?

I saw when pokerev opened the Neo Destiny box he pulled a shining and holo out of the same pack, how rare is that? People on the stream said it’s an error. Is it?
