Shipping Delays - Are you affected? Wheres my Poke cards?

Because of current times, there have been Shipping Delays. How have you been affected?

I have packages outstanding from early last April - from Japan and even Australia and light domestic delays. Is Australia Post to US Shipping that delayed, anyone else affected?

Are you still ordering from Japan or delayed countries during these times? I just want my poke cards sooner, and worried of months later refund after item has gone up in value.

It is what it is. Be patient.

Have a nice day.

They’re like - It’s in the mail Mate! OK, They’re top 10,000 card, where is it? Does not show up via tracking or anything.

Japan has the “Sent tracking info” via tracking updates. Really now, how wonderful over a month later.

I will have to leave negative reviews if they try to pull a quick one and relist it months later. This is not the time to be borrowing money from buyers in Corona times.

Been waiting over 70 days on a shipping from Australia and im not complaining, not even worried. Delays were obviously happening due to covid and overseas shipping got worst than even with this.

@pokemonargentina, What’s your secret? Meditation or Yoga? How to alleviate this uncertainty?

For the low volume Japan sellers, they may disappear. Their auction listings certainly have gone away and responses are none, they must be on vacation. That would be fantastic right, wait months after paying, to then pay 3-4x more later to get card, and fight ebay for refund for missing ebayer.

Not complaining, but what is your secret?

The veteran Poke buyers suggesting this is the way the cookie crumbles, I’m not sure about that. Feels like I’m giving the Japanese/Australians free money. I need at least a few pokemon cards out of the exchange.

No joke, I’ve been practising meditation and yoga several times a week for a while, and it’s changing my life.

I highly recommend it if you’re stressed out.

I hope you’re not joking because I love yoga.

I feel the frustration and uncertainty as I also have a card tied up in the Australian post. Luckily, I have an excellent seller who turns out to be an efour member. If your seller doesn’t respond, that would add to the frustration.

As long as the card shows up, I really don’t care but I want to make sure I’m protected in worst case scenario.

Does anyone know of any change with ebay’s buyer protection policy during covid19 shipping delays?

Im confused what unlikely scenarios are you so worried about? Its not like they are opening your boxes and using your cards for toilet paper. Its not like the Japanese post has a bad reputation. There are no planes flying therefore there are no packages flying. Have some patience young padawan and don’t react so harshly to lifes uncertainties. That said I have ~3k of cards tied up overseas from early april orders. It’s not like I’m thrilled but I’m also not anxious because my happiness doesn’t depend on their arrival you know? Even though they will bring an adrenal high when they come I’m not hinging my emotions on it.

Believe in the heart of the cards yugioh

Chicago has been holding my cards since early April :slightly_frowning_face:

Yeah everything will be fine.

If you ordered in april before the post stopped accepting orders your package shouldn’t still be with the buyer it should be with the post. I find it unlikely that they still have your item and don’t intend to send it at all and are simply waiting to refund you later on.

My issue isn’t Japan, apart from one package I’ve received everything from there normally.

The issue for me now is the US - I have 2 packages stuck at Chicago distribution center. Other since May 2 and other since May 12.

But, it is what it is. I will get them eventually and I’m ready to wait. I know what the situation is and I knew this could happen, so I was prepared. I have a third package coming from the US that actually went through New York so that might actually arrive soon, we will see what happens with that one. But packages that go to Chicago seem to get stuck atm.

Do you have a easy to know and track those 65 packages?

lmao Chicago (quite specific not to mention the state) , Aus, and JP.

Hope everyone is waiting patiently like me.

Just purchased a card from a seller in Japan. Is the Japan post excepting mail to the U.S or are they going to tell him to hold it until its up and running again? He wasn’t the most motivated seller so I fear he might back out if the post makes him hold the card.

Since I’ve been buying cards through Facebook I’ve been keeping a log of all things I’ve bought online and are currently incoming, with a date of purchase and date it was send by the seller. Before, when it was just 4-6 different webshops like eBay, CardMarket, etc. on average, I could keep track of it in my head and by going to those webshops. But nowadays it’s impossible to keep track of the 25-50 packages I usually have incoming on average.

Right now I have 29 different incoming purchases: 7 that still have to be shipped (of which four I bought late last week), and the other 22 have already been shipped at various dates.
One shipped order from March 1st has been refunded thus far by the seller (although we’ve agreed that if it arrives after all, I would pay back the refund).
The earliest shipped packages after that which has yet to arrive were from the first week of April, one from the US and one from Australia.
The packages I currently have incoming have to ship from the following countries to The Netherlands: US (12x); Australia; Japan (2x); China; Brazil (2x); France; Spain; Poland; South Korea (2x); Germany (3x); Canada (2x); Italy (2x). So basically from all around the world…

Anyway, I’m not too worried yet. It’s annoying most packages are incoming between 6-8 weeks one average during these times, but I’m used to 2-6 week packages anyway. I also collect puzzles, which come almost all from China and takes 4-8 weeks on average, so I’m used to long shipping times. I still get annoyed by it for exciting orders, but I can’t change it anyway, so all we can do is wait patiently. ¯\_🙂_/¯
