Silly question about payment transactions between members

Hi all,

I hope this finds you reasonably well in light of current global affairs.

Sorry if this is a stupid question in advance. A bit of context - I’ve only started to ramp up online purchases from abroad since COVID-19 started, and I’m based in Singapore. My primary hobby is MTG, and our supply of old stuff here is way more compared to Pokemon.

How do members here transact between one another? Would it primarily be through paypal, or would some type of transfer work as well.

i use paypal g&s and of course there is also ebay

PayPal is the standard until you get in the 5 figure+ range

What would you say becomes the standard after that? Wire transfer?

(And yes I know that sometimes sellers request cash for… reasons).

Ive done about 15 member to member transactions here below 5 figures and they were all paypal gs

I prefer to use wire transfer with established sellers as it reduces the fees on the deal

When I can I use Revolut, low conversion rate, fast, easy: revolut.com/referral/damianpvtr (there’s my referral in it).
I dont like so much paypal because I have to pay more ~4% to convert usd/eur and another 3% for g+s (this is ok, but you dont need it with a customer/friend).
edit: and it’s completely free to order (the basic one) and no hidden expenses.
