“On January 17, 2025, with the official entry of Pokémon cards into the “Scarlet & Violet” series, the first bullet of “Pokémon Collection Card Game Gem Pack”, which aims to provide a new collection experience for trainers who love to collect Pokémon cards, will also be released simultaneously on January 17”

RIP to all species collectors of the Paldea starters in advance. Also these cards have the weirdest numbering I have ever seen on Pokémon cards. Nice artwork on the special arts though.
First the 5th anniversary promos, now these. Will China be getting all the cool exclusives from now on? Hopefully I can get these without ebay sellers cancelling on me after they go up this time.
Note that the 5th anniversary promos were Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong & Taiwan), not Simplified Chinese (mainland China). But yeah, I could imagine China still getting exclusive promos and such even after catching up with Japan since the potential market is of course pretty big.
We can figure out how the set’s index and rarity format works now that the full set had been revealed:
Index format: [CBBw C] xx yy/zz
w is the set volume number. Since this is the first CBB set, all cards we know so far are from Volume 1 so w is always 1.
x can be considered as “mini set number within the set” - in the first set, each Pokémon species has its own “mini set” and thus is assigned to a different x number. Trainers and Energies on the other hand has x numbers specific to card types.
yy/zz is your regular index/total cards “within each x” - for example, there are 9 Sprigatito cards in the set, so the indices for Sprigatito are 01/09 to 09/09.
So based on the format, we first have the list of all x and z indices for the first set:

(Captain Pikachu doesn’t have Shiny or regular Art Rare variants, so the set included Shiny and Art Rare equivalents of the Paldea Evolved/Paldea Fates Pikachu instead.)

And finally the weird rarity definitions of this set:
16 Energy Symbol Holos and 16 Poké Ball Holos, one for each Pokémon
⬥
23
16 Star Confetti Holos and 7 Prism Holos
★
23
16 Master Ball Holos and 7 Shinies
★★
19
All regular cards with stamps, including 16 Pokémons and 3 Ball Trainer cards
★★★
18
11 Art Rares, 1 Nemona SAR and all 6 Energies
Personally I really don’t like how the stamped cards are arranged in this set as they occupy a lot of the rare slots (all ★★s and 3 ★★★s which reduces your chance to get the ARs) and the set logo being apparently oversized, but maybe that’s just me.
