Forgive me if I missed the thread if this was discussed previously. But I was curious if there was a difference in buying a sealed booster box vs 36 sleeved pack from say Walmart it target?
I realize the price may come up to be different. But is there any difference in the cards you will pull?

Box will conform to ‘standard’ pull rates, 36 random packs you could do way better on pulls or you could get extremely unlucky, there’s no ‘guarantee’ vs a sealed box.
Yeah there isn’t really set data on how buying 36 single packs will do compared to 36 packs from the same booster box. You could do better or you could do worse. However, that all comes from what you deem as a successful card or not.

You could not pack anything with loose packs but depending on what set a booster box usually gives you between 6 to 9 “ultra rare” pulls
Thanks you all for the info. I usually grab a back or two from Walmart if they have any, have had some luck. But I’m thinking of going for a booster box or 2 of something to see if my odds improve.
No wounder lol Checked XY Flashfire prices: loose 36 pack = $850, sealed box = #2500 lol
Pretty much saw same thing with Cosmic Eclipse. Booster was $220 and 36 sleeved packs was $160, can’t help but wonder if it’s worth the $60 difference.
On a side note when I was at a Walmart by me they hade probable at least 20-30 cosmic eclipse packs, after I would 6. I’m considering going back and getting a few more if they have them.
