Does anyone here like the smell of Pokemon cards? Especially the wotc era and ex era, Be honest guys don’t be afraid to admit it :laughing:

Apparently according to a friend. My friend’s friend used to rub his balls on the Pokémon cards which sold below what he expected on eBay. You’re probably just smelling his balls (possibly).

I keep some rare extras in an old cigar box. I just pulled some recently to trade and they smell awesome.

As someone who hates the smell of cigars, this would definitely not be my ideal or expected scent if smelling a card I bought/traded.

My fiance, however, would be thrilled as all hell.

Pack fresh English Diamond & Pearl / Platinum era cards had the best smell in my opinion :grin:

Just smelled some fresh Gym Heroes cards, it´s like being a kid again! The best drug I know of.

Yes, truly one of my favorite smells. It takes me wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back. Back to a time when I didn’t care about the conditions of my cards, freely throwing them around like they wouldn’t be worth thousands of dollars one day. :sweat:

I smell my cards to make sure they don’t smell of something weird. Have had cards that were super dank and also a lot from yj that smelled like cat piss.

I’m imagining you all for some reason being in dark basements just opening packs and sniffing them, not looking at the cards, placing the opened pack down, and repeating.

anyone who played at a league when they were giving out pop 8 boosters knows how sweet those cards smelt straight from the booster.
