Stolen binders

Hello everyone,
My place was robbed today and the thief’s ended up taking 2 binders with some of my most cherished cards. Many of my cards were autographs and japanese promos I had collected over the years. If anyone sees a person selling cards on ebay with the following, please let me know so I can file a police report on them.

What area of the world are you in, for other sales circles other than eBay? They will probably try and move as a single lot with a notable or two for ad bait. So sorry this happened to you.

definitely look out for the classic “RARE pokemon card lot L@@k” on your local craigslist. I refresh ebay every day looking for fan club eevees as well, so the moment I see one with a swirl behind it’s tail I’ll give a heads up.

Was anything besides pokemon cards stolen?
I remember seeing something similar to this thread with only pokemon cards being stolen from someones house which lead me to believe the thief knew who the victim was. It ended up being someone the victim knew and I think the police got involved and the cards returned.
I don’t think your average burglar is going to steal pokemon cards, you very well may know who did this.

@sacari Yes here is the thread. The cards were returned after the person posted publicly how they were contacting the police.

Where do you live?

Yes that’s the one, OP should probably take a look at that thread. Seems like a similar case potentially.

Wow what a terrible thing to happen. I’ll keep a look out and save those cards in my saved searches. Sorry for your loss :slightly_frowning_face:

So sorry to hear.
I would consider putting together a list of everyone that knows that you have valuable cards at your house and starting from there. I know that I have made the mistake making local sales at my house and on one occasion, inviting the individual to my stash. As mentioned, the average low class burglar doesn’t know that those cards are valuable and I have to imagine, wouldn’t take it with the limited time and space they have.
I’ll definitely keep my eye out for what you have.
