Here are some highlights… The “Shiny Charziard” and “Shiny Gyarados” Arita autos are so strange. First time we’re seeing Base Set Cosmos test prints too.
This is a crazy auction block. Learning base set had cosmos test prints and fossil had cosmos for employees, thankfully there are no known Jungle cosmos holos!

Those shiny base set cards are something else: almost hard to believe that they’re real. Very curious about their provenance. Test prints?

looks like it had a shot at a high grade too, a PSA 9 or higher doesn’t exist from memory…

Are you asking if the shiny charizard and gyarados are test prints? They are just colored over (presumably by Arita) with marker.

Base set cosmos are really cool. The shiny ones are not for me. Just coloring over the original cards. But to each their own

Im assuming the majority of this block comes from one seller, the amount of complete sets and rare items, similar boxes, indicates it. I wonder who it is and why they are dumping their massive collection

The colored gyarados and charizard signed cards were actually signed for e4 members many years ago. Theres a post on here thats like 10 years old or something about a signing arita did including those 2 cards which he did indeed color over to make them look shiny I believe at the request of the person getting the card signed.
