Surfing Pikachu hit me like a truck! [Quick Guide]

After having @BANKS help us translate some Japanese Corocoro comics and Bessatsu comics I have found the last missing piece of the puzzle to definitively close the gap on 1997 Surfing Pikachu promo card. It was a quite random final puzzle piece:

This proves the second distribution of 1997 Surfing Pikachu. Nippon is the airlines the flying pikachu and dragonite were on.

So finally the correct order is:

1997 surfing pikachu+imakuni? “Thank you” promo = September corocoro issue(non bimonthly)

and…

1997 surfing pikachu+flying pikachu debut in October corocoro comic bessatsu(bessatsu is bimonthly on even numbered months)

That is all and thank you if you participated in this, it was quite confusing at times. I just wanted to make this thread to clarify double event release.

this is a sticker from 2018 from the Nippon Surfing Association, how is this proof of the 1997 surfing pikachu distributions?

Ur right. I was wrong. I wonder if the japan exclusive red green blue distribution haa any hold on it. Those numbers look to match up below.

The corocoro red blue green surfing Pikachu distribution event was an event that distributed surfing Pikachu in the games. 40 surfing Pikachu were distributed in that way. They are not cards.
